PURPOSE:To simplify the structure and heighten precision of the captioned device by making a roller, with a shaft for a high-speed and high frequency sliding mechanism such as a robot arm and the like, by combination of a cross bearing and a cam follower and forming a conical rolling surface on its outer periphery. CONSTITUTION:A steel type ball 1 is maintained in annular form means of a cage 2 to form a trochanter group, which is supported by means of a shaft 3 and an inner race 6 in 45 deg. direction from above and below respectively, while exterior upward and downward directions of the ball 1 are supported in 45 deg. directions by means of an outer race 7. Then, conical rolling surfaces 8 with their apexes on a center line of a shaft 3 are formed on outer peripheral upper and lower ends of the outer race 7. At the time of assembly, the outer race 7 is first fitted, and the trochanter group is arranged, then an inner race 6 is assembled. This roller 11 with a shaft is provided between a base and a frame of an unillustrated sliding device, and rolling surfaces 8 are brought in contact with guide rails to have thrust and radial load borne. Precision can be improved by this structure. |
