Crystallized semiaromatic copolyamides having glass transition temperatures, Tg, greater than 142 DEG C., melting points, Tm, less than 290 DEG C. and improved thermomechanical properties, well adopted for the production of a wide variety of useful shaped articles, contain specified amounts of terephthalic acid, 2-methylpentamethylenediamine and hindered aromatic diamine recurring structural units.
