<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the erasion of data to be caused by a fact that a RAM card is taken out of an information processor when the battery lifetime draws near its end by monitoring the consumption time of the battery of the RAM card. CONSTITUTION:The consumption time of the built-in battery of a RAM card 1 is calculated from the time points when the card 1 is taken out of and put into an information processor 6. Thus the time of exchange is detected for the battery 1 by monitoring the consumption time of the battery. Then this time of exchange of the battery is displayed for execution of the exchange. As a result, it is possible to prevent such a failure where the data on the card 1 are erased due to a fact that an operator takes the card 1 out of the processor 6 by mistake.</p> |
