PURPOSE:To enhance the resolution of an image and to improve the color reproducibility of a chromatic colorant by sticking electrically conductive fine powder to the surface of a toner by mechanical strain stress and by enabling development by electrostatic induction. CONSTITUTION:This electrically conductive color toner is obtd. by sticking electrically conductive fine powder to the surface of a toner by mechanical strain stress. The fine powder has <=10<13>OMEGAcm electric resistance and <=0.4mum average diameter and the amt. of the fine powder is 0.5-30wt.% of the total amt. The fine powder is made of titanium oxide, a titanium oxide-based compd., tin oxide, a tin oxide-based compd., zinc oxide, a zinc oxide-based compd., indium oxide, an indium oxide-based compd., copper iodide or a copper iodide- based compd. Since carbon black is not contained, a fine color is obtained. The toner is made electrically conductive by a small amt. of the electrically conductive fine powder, no toner sticks to a non-image area and an image having high image density and very high resolution is obtd. |
