PURPOSE:To obtain a lubricating film, containing a liquid mono- or polyester compound containing perfluoroalkylene chain as constituent units, excellent in durable friction properties and useful for magnetic heads and recording media. CONSTITUTION:The objective lubricating film containing a polyester compound having preferably perfluoromethylene, perfluoroethylene, perfluoropropylene chains, etc., between ester bonds [preferred example; a compound, expressed by the formula (Rf and Rf' are perfluoroalkyl; n is about 1-60) as constituent units and having about 500-20000 molecular weight and about 10-4000 kinematic viscosity] and preferably further a compound having <30 deg.C melting point. |
