PURPOSE:To process a picture data signal even when a date arithmetic circuit providing a low-speed A/D converter is used by outputting a transmission pulse whenever the A/D converter of the data arithmetic circuit A/D-converts each picture signal. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 200 sets a program so that an A/D converter 210 may output a transfer clock signal Str whenever the A/D convertion of each picture signal is completed, and in the driving control circuit of a sensor unit 100, a picture data fetching control means, which outputs the transmission pulse and an A/D timing signal Sad in response to the transfer clock signal Str, is provided. Consequently the cycle of the transmission pulse is determined by the operation of the A/D converter provided in the data arithmetic circuit. Thus, the data arithmetic circuit can be used regardless of the speed of the A/D converter, and by using the data arithmetic circuit of a high-speed converter, since the transfer pulse is inputted according to the operation of the A/D converter, the fetching time of the picture data in a CCD shift register can be made faster. |
