<p>PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of mounting by providing an operating member, which is abutted to a front cover and drives the front cover in a direction turning to a closed condition accompanying with the displacement from a cassette mounting position to a cassette inserting position, in a main body side. CONSTITUTION:When a tape cassette 1 is inserted to a cassette holder 2, the lock member of the cassette 1 is detached from the engaged part of a front cover 6 and the holder 2 falls down to the cassette mounting position. When the holder 2 falls down, an engage hook 19 is engaged with an engage projection 17 and the rising of the holder 2 is blocked. Next, when eject operation is executed, a canceling mechanism 20 is operated and the hook 19 is detached from the projection 17. Then, the holder 2 is raised by an energizing means. By the rising of the hook 2, an operating member 21 turns the front cover 6 in an arrow C direction and the front cover is set in the closed condition. Then, the ejection of the cassette 1 can be executed. Thus, cassette insertion and the eject operation can be executed without fail.</p> |
