Ventilation device for height adjustable vehicle sunroof - uses motorised extraction fan supported for rotation in plane parallel to surface of sunroof

The ventilation device uses a fan motor ( 22) coupled to a ventilation fan ( 23), which draws in air from beneath the sunroof, supported by a housing (12) attached to the sunroof ( 10) and adjusted in unison with the latter. The housing (12) has a radial flow channels (27) parallel to the surface of the sunroof (10). Pref the edge of the housing (12) abutting the sunroof (10) has a lip which can be slid to fit beneath the operating device for the sunroof at one side, with hinged mounting (32,36) at the opposite side for securing the housing (12) to the peripheral rim (11) of the sunroof (10). USE - For extracting hot air from interior of vehicle.
