PURPOSE:To permit to bake a substance to be baked so as to have a desired quality by providing a steam generating chamber, equipped with steam injection holes, above upper baking heaters. CONSTITUTION:The baking heaters 1, 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, below the steam generating chamber 2, are heated to bake the substance to be baked, such as bread or the like, and heat the steam generating chamber 2 to a high temperature. When the substance to be baked necessitates steam, a change-over switch is operated to put the electric heaters 31a, 31 ON and heat the steam generating tubes 3, 3a. Thereafter, water is poured into spray water tube 4 to inject water from water spray holes 41 against the steam generating tubes 3, 3a. The water, thus injected, becomes steam and the steam is injected from steam injection holes 71 into the oven 100. Heating steam can be injected on the substance to be baked in the oven when it is necessary to supply the heating steam, therefore, the substance to be baked may be baked so as to have the desired quality. |
