Distributing slider for furnace - has reciprocating action and cooling to feed jets, and aid combustion

The reciprocal action slider (10) is hollow and is guided by fixed wheels to slide over grid surfaces inside the furnance. It spreads the material to be burnt and adds an air-flow through its front mounted jets (24) to provide an even burn. The slider has ceramic outer parts, or ceramic cladding. The air-flow inside each slider provides cooling, via an armoured air pipe (11). Hinged flaps (21) prevent burning material being dragged backwards. USE/ADVANTAGE - Improved burn control, no clogging. Rubbish or slurry incinerator.
