PURPOSE:To prolong a life of a photosensitve body and to improve preservation stability thereof the forming a resin layer consisting primarily of a polyether imide on a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:A negatively chargeable function separation type photosensitive layer 4 consisting of a charge generating layer 2 and a charge transporting layer 3 is formed on an electroconductive base body 1, and a resin layer 5 is formed on the photosensitive layer 4. In this photosensitive body, the resin layer 5 contains a polyether imide. It is unnecessary to restrict the structure of the photosensitive layer 4. The photosensitive layer can be a negatively chargeable function separation type or positively chargeable function separation type. A protective layer 6 may be formed further as an upper layer of the resin layer 5. Thus, the life of the electrophotographic sensitive body can be prolonged and the preservation stability thereof may be improved. |
