PURPOSE:To obtain an original plate for electrophotographic process having improved sensitivity, stability against time lapse, and high eluting property by using a phthalocyanine as a for a photoconductive layer, and incorporating a specified compd. into the photoconductive layer. CONSTITUTION:In an original plate for electrophotographic process prepd. by forming a toner image electrophotographically, then removing a phtoconductive layer of a non-image part other than the toner image part, a phthalocyanine is used in the photoconductive layer and a compd. expressed by the formula I is incorporated into the photoconductive layer. In the formula I, Z is an S atom or an O atom; Ar is a univalent aromatic hydrocarbon group or a univalent heterocyclic group; R3 is an H atom, alkyl group, aryl group, or aralkyl group, wherein Ar may form a ring together with R3; each R1 and R2 is an alkyl group, aryl group, or an aralkyl group, wherein R1 and R2 may be same of different to each other. Thus, an electrophotographic original plate having high sensitivity, improved chargeability, charge holding characteristic as well as improved eluting property for an etching soln. and improved stability against time lapse, is obtd. |
