PURPOSE:To attain accurate metered values by performing metering by a metering system under the condition that a photographing lens is focused in a TTL metering system. CONSTITUTION:When the focusing of an object is completed under the condition that a shutter button is semi-depressed by a photographer, the brightness of the object is measured by a metering sensor 6, and whether the charge storage time flash of a solid image pick-up element 9 is required or not and the timing time of the flash emission are operated by a system controller based on the brightness information. When the shutter button is fully depressed by the photographer and releasing is started, a main mirror 3 is sprang up and exposure to the solid image pick-up element 9 is started. At the same time, the metering sensor 6 starts metering, and when it detects that the metered quantity has reached the correct exposure value, the charge storage of the solid image pick-up element 9 is stopped, the stored charge is transmitted to an analog memory part and the photographing is completed. Since the TTL metering is performed under the condition that the photographing lens is focused, the accurate metering data is obtained and the photographing with the accurate exposure is realized. |
