<p>PURPOSE: To manufacture a metallic sheet in an unmanned condition by transmitting the parts description data record from a computer support terminal to a first manufacturing station, and then to the next manufacturing station. CONSTITUTION: When the manufacturing process planning data is inputted, an MPP computer 110 generates the parts description data record from the CAD data of each parts, the machining sequence is determined by a master computer 138, and transmitted to command computers 140-150 of each manufacturing station. The command computer 140 of the first manufacturing station operates a robot, etc., through a slave computer 152, and transmits the data to the command computers 142 or 144-150 of the next manufacturing station. The sheet metal parts can thus be manufactured in a completely unmanned condition.</p> |
