<p>PURPOSE:To easily and efficiently regenerate a Pd supporting catalyst used in a dehalogenation-dimerization reaction by suspending and washing the catalyst in an aq. medium at a specified temp. CONSTITUTION:An arom. halogen compd. is dehalogenated and dimerized with a Pd supporting catalyst to produce the dimer of an arom. compd. At this time, the catalyst is deactivated. This deactivated catalyst is suspended and washed in an aq. medium at about 70-200 deg.C. By this treatment, the catalyst can be easily and efficiently regenerated, enables a dehalogenation-dimerization reaction again at a high rate of conversion in a high yield and ensures industrially and economically great advantages.</p> |
