Device for the plug-in connection of a flexible hose (4) formed from two components - a socket and a rigid element (5) onto which the said flexible hose is shrunk by thermal contraction of an outer covering ring (6) - characterised in that an elastomeric O-ring (9) is gradually crushed between two opposite surfaces, one of which is substantially cylindrical and the other in the form of a cone with a small angle, in the course of an axial manoeuvre causing the said O-ring to roll, without sliding, performing one (or more) complete revolution(s) about itself.
