摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a magnet which is excellent in characteristics such as the residual flux density, coercive force and product of the maximum energy and has the high acid resistance, by sintering the metallic powder constituted of Sm, Ti, Cu, Fe respectively in the specific weight % and mainly of Co in the remnant, keeping it for a fixed time at 600-700 deg.C, and thereafter gradually cooling it at the cooling speed of 5 deg.C/min or less. CONSTITUTION:After a fixed pressing die is filled with the metallic powder constituted of 26-29% Sm, 0.2-3% Ti, 3-9% Cu, 10-14% Fe respectively expressed in weight % and mainly of Co in the remnant, it is compression-molded in the magnetic field and sintered in the inert atmosphere at 1,050-1,250 deg.C. Thereafter, the obtained sintered body is applied to a heat treatment for 0.1sec- 1hr at 600-700 deg.C again in the inert atmosphere, and succeedingly gradually cooled at the cooling speed of 5 deg.C/min or less. Thus, an Sm2Co17 permanent magnet which is excellent in the magnetic characteristic of Br, (BH) max, Hc, etc. and in acid resistance is obtained.
