<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the silicon steel tube having high magnetic flux density in a low magnetic field and reduced in the difference in magnetic properties in the sheet-thickness direction by making a tube from a stock prepared by hot-rolling a steel having limited Fe content and then applying prescribed heat treatment to the above tube. CONSTITUTION:A stock prepared by subjecting a slab or cast slab having a steel composition containing >=99.5wt.% Fe to heating up to 1100-1350 deg.C and hot rolling is formed into a tube, and this tube is heat-treated at 500-1000 deg.C. Further, it is desirable to carry out cold drawing after the above tube making and also to perform heat treatment at 500-1000 deg.C after cold drawing. By this method, homogeneous high electromagnetic properties can be provided and the silicon steel tube suitable for magnetic shielding can be obtained.</p> |
