CARRIER FOR DEVELOPING ELECTROSTATIC IMAGE AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

PURPOSE:To obtain the carrier for developing electrostatic images by the simple production process at a high yield by repeatedly applying impact force by a dry process to a mixture composed of a resin-coated carrier and fine resin particles by a dry press to implant the fine resin particles into a coating resin layer, thereby immobilizing the fine resin particles. CONSTITUTION:While the impact force is repeatedly applied to the mixture composed of the resin-coated carried and the fine resin particles, the fine resin particles are implanted into the coating resin layer and are thereby immobilized. The denser resin coating layer is thus formed and the surface of the resin coating layer is smoothed while the film strength is increased. The fine resin particles projecting from the resin coating layer prevent the surface wear of the resin coating layer by contact or friction. The carrier for developing electrostatic images having the excellent wear resistance is easily obtd. at the high yield in this way.
