<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate engine stall to prolong clutch life by correcting the amount of clutch engagement in response to the slope of road surface in a clutch control device which electronically controls clutch operating speed and the amount of clutch engagement in response to load to a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:Engine speed, rotating speed of an input shaft, opening of a throttle valve, clutch stroke, the operating amount of an accelerator pedal required of clutch control are inputted from each sensor 13, 33, 12, 23, 41 to the control device to obtain a target amount of clutch engagement by maps of the opening theta of the throttle valve, the slope phi of road surface, the engine speed Ne, the rotating speed Ni of the input shaft, and a clutch reference point. Next, the operating speed of the clutch until a target amount of clutch engagement is reached is obtained from maps of the rotating speed difference between the engine and the input shaft, the clutch stroke x, the operating amount of the accelerator pedal AP, the target amount of clutch engagement is campared to the amount of clutch movement, and an actuator 21 is controlled so as to obtain a predetermined amount of clutch engagement. The clutch can thus be properly controlled in consideration of road surface.</p> |
