<p>PURPOSE:To contrive accomplishment of miniaturization and low cost of the title current transformer by a method wherein an R-face is formed on a coil, and at the same time, the outer circumferential surface of the coil is coated with a conductivity substance, and the conductivity substance is earthed. CONSTITUTION:An R-face 2c is formed at the corner parts, which are intersecting with the inner circumferential surface 2a and both end faces 2b of a ring-shaped coil 2 respectively for the purpose of accomplishing the alleviation of an electric field. The outer circumferential surface of the coil 2 is covered with a metallized contact 3, which is a thin metal film, as a conductivity substance. A metal film isolation layer 4, which is not covered with the metallicon 3, is provided on a part of the circumference. Two of the above- mentioned coil 2 are arranged in series, and the part of the metallicon 3 is earthed. Consequently, as the conductivity substance 3, which is coated on the surface of the coil 2, functions as a shield, the formation of an inductance shield is unnecessary, and the miniaturization and reduction in cost of the through type current transformer can be accomplished.</p> |
