PURPOSE:To reduce vibration and noise generated from a cylinder body by mutually connecting side members each having a trapezoidal perpendicular cross section with cross members on which bearing faces are formed on their top faces leaving a space in the axial direction, and forming the trapezoidal section of the side member in accordance with the magnitude of lateral bending vibration mode. CONSTITUTION:The perpendicular cross section in the longitudinal direction of each side member 1 is formed into a trapezoidal shape, and the lengths of the top side 11 and bottom side 12 thereof are made smaller on a transmission installing side 13 while larger on the opposite side. Both front and rear ends of two side members 1 which are separated at a defined distance and the portions which equally divide the longitudinal direction of the side members 1 are linked with a plurality of cross members 2, forming the ladder frame 15 of a cylinder body. A bearing face 5 is formed in the center on the top face of each cross member 2. Since the trapezoidal section of the side member 1 is formed in accordance with the magnitude of lateral bending vibration mode, the side member 1 has sufficient rigidity to the lateral bending vibration mode, to effectively damp down propagating vibration to a cylinder body. |
