Connector arrangement includes a Y-piece (1, 2), arranged to join the patient attachment piece to an inhalation tube and an exhalation tube respectively. A bacteria filter (3) is arranged within the Y-piece (1, 2) itself. The through-flow area of the Y-piece (1, 2) is enlarged in comparison with that of the patient attachment piece. The Y-piece (1, 2) may be formed from two bowl shaped parts (1, 2). The bacterial filter (3) can be clamped between these parts substantially perpendicular to the through-flow direction. The Y-piece (1, 2) may comprise three attachment nipples, namely one (4) for the patient attachment piece, one (5) for the inhalation tube and one (6) for the exhalation tube. |
