The equipment is for the installation of a skylight, having a top section (1) formed by a hollow frame. This is filled with insulating material (6) so as to leave a recess (7) at one end, where there is a flange (5), protruding outwards and set back from the endface. A hollow frame also forms the bottom section (2), being filled with insulating material and has a flange (8) at the endface. The bottom section is inserted in the recess in the top one. ADVANTAGE - Simple to install irrespective of the type of sloping roof.
