<p>The invention concerns the use of kaempferol and certain derivatives thereof for the preparation of a cosmetic or pharmaceutical composition. According to the invention, a compound is used having the formula (I), in which R1, R2, R3 and R4 are identical or different, each representing hydrogen, an alkyl group, preferably a lower alcyl at C1-C4, an aliphatic, araliphatic or aromatic acyl group at C1-C12 or the residue of a sugar; or a vegetable extract containing such a compound, for the preparation of a cosmetic or pharmaceutical compound, in particular, a dermatological compound for stimulating skin pigmentation or superficial body growth.</p> |
