PURPOSE:To make multi-step adjustment in a damping force adjusting device for a damper device for car by calculating the membership function of fuzzy control by reference to a preset control map for changeover of damping force in steps, judging the degree of adaptation of the membership function, and thereupon selecting a damping force. CONSTITUTION:Sensing values from sensors 7, 9-12 are fed to a controller 13. A control map setting part 14 sets the membership function of fuzzy control using a control map for changing over the damping force in steps according to the preset running condition. An adaptation calculating part 15 judges the degree of adaptation of the membership function according to the running condition determined on the basis of the preset fuzzy control membership function and emits the resultant to a 4/2 wheel selecting part 16 to select damping force for each damper. A 2X2 wheel mode changeover part 17 changes over the mode. Thus multi-step adjustment is accomplished. |
