The process is used to build up step by step a plastic pipe which has, layer by layer from inside to outside, an inner release film, an inner skin, a resin-rich intermediate layer with nonwoven fabric inlay, a plurality of alternating axial and tangential reinforcing layers of fibrous strands embedded in synthetic resin, an outer skin and an outer release film. The device for carrying out the process has the working stations required for this, which are arranged on a common basic frame.
