The invention relates to compressed-air control devices, in particular for motor vehicles. During the process of exhausting into the atmosphere, the back-pressure of the discharging medium is kept to a relatively low level and the switching and exhaust noises are low whilst simultaneously ensuring a small pressure-controller switching span since, apart from a variable axial play, a relay piston having stroke limiting is provided.
