PURPOSE:To provide shrink proofing properties to a worsted cloth and simultaneously carry out deepening of color of the cloth by scouring and drying a yarn- dyeing worsted cloth having deepened color and then subjecting the treated cloth to corona discharge treatment and successively dipping the cloth in a reactive silicone solution and dehydrating the dipped cloth and preliminarily drying and the dehydrated cloth and subjecting the dried cloth to heat treatment. CONSTITUTION:A worsted cloth is dyed to deepened color and then scoured and dried and the dried cloth is subjected to corona discharge treatment under atmospheric pressure within the range of 30-300w/m<2> per min and then the treated cloth is dipped in a reactive silicone solution and preliminarily dried and heat-treated to form an uniform coating film having strong adhesion on the cloth. According to the above-mentioned method, color deepening of the cloth is carried out without impairing handle of original wool and simultaneously high dimensional stabilities and shrink proofing properties are provided to the cloth. |
