A stabilization process for hydrated lipid lamellar phases, for example liposomes is characterized in that the stabilizing support is in the form of a solution containing a mixture of atelocollagen and glycosaminoglycans. The relative proportion of the glycosaminoglycans lies preferably between 18 and 25% by weight of the atelocollagen. The glycasaminoglycan is preferably acid, chondroitin -4- or -6- sulphate, dermaton sulphate, heparin sulphate, keratan sulphate, heparin or mucoitin sulphate. The preferred use of this composition is in pharmacy or beauty care.
