Assembly device for automotive gear clutches

The assembly device serves to press the gear drive shaft into the hub or out of the hub of the clutch disc of an automotive gear clutch. It consists of a supporting tube (1), which has at one end section a fastening thread (6) of small diameter which can be fastened in a tapped hole of the automotive gearbox coaxially to the gear drive shaft, and of a threaded spindle (4) which is provided at its one end with a profiled head (23) for a spanner and at the other end with a threaded stem (26) and which can be screwed in an adjustable manner into a nut (3) likewise provided with a profiled head (23) for a spanner. In order to permit simpler manipulation and more widespread use, the supporting tube (1) is provided at its other end section with a flange ring (7) which has a second external fastening thread (8) of larger diameter as well as an internal thread (9). In addition, the nut (3) is rotatably mounted but in an axially fixed manner in a bearing sleeve (2) which has both an internal thread (11) which can be screwed onto the first fastening thread (6) and an external thread (12) which can be screwed into the internal thread (11) of the flange ring (7). <IMAGE>
