PURPOSE:To improve strength and to reduce variance of strength, difference in strength between vertical and horizontal directions and drying shrinkage by uniformly blending concrete with one or more kinds of coarse aggregate each having approximately single particle diameter in each kind so as to make the bulk volume of the coarse aggregate approximately equal to the volume of the concrete and to mutually engage the aggregates. CONSTITUTION:For example, coarse aggregates 1, 2 and 3 having large, small and middle diameters are used as coarse aggregates and each of the aggregates 1-3 is adjusted to have approximately the same particle diameter, respectively. In the operation, coarse aggregates having small volume ratio are preferable so that the limit of kinds of the sizes of the coarse aggregate used is considered to be three kinds. Then the coarse aggregates 1-3, for example, are blended with concrete in a water cement ratio of 25% in such a way that the volume of the cement is approximately equal to bulk volume of the coarse aggregates 1-3. The coarse aggregates are approximately uniformly dispersed into the concrete and adjacent coarse aggregates are mutually engaged. |
