<p>PURPOSE:To ensure and facilitate positioning by supporting a bottle by a cylinder having an article holding recess portion on the upper portion thereof, a diametral notch groove on the base thereof and one pair of flat notch portions on the sides, and rotating and aligning the cylinders utilizing the notch groove and the notch portion to be transported in the above device for an empty bottle or the like. CONSTITUTION:Transport means 1 supporting an empty bottle are guided by conveyers 3, 3 and guide plates 8, 8 and supplied between one pair of endless belts 4, 4 running at different rotating speeds. The transport means 1 are turned by the action of the belts 4, 4. As the belts 4, 4 become parallel to the notched flat side 1C, the turning is stopped. In such a posture, a notch groove 1B of the base engages with a guide 10 to transport a bottle. By this arrangement, bottles can be positioned surely and easily and transported.</p> |
