PURPOSE:To simplify replacement of a turbine rotor by putting a shaft center mating hardware, which can easily be attached or detached, between two turbine rotors, which are arranged in such a manner that their shaft ends are mated with each other concentrically, thereby obtaining a means by which two rotors can be connected or disconnected at will. CONSTITUTION:A disc 12, a part of which is sunk in a recess made in a shaft coupling surface 8, is fixed to a shaft coupling 1 by means of bolts 13. The outer periphery 12a of the disc 12, which is projected from the shaft coupling surface 8, is fitted and adhered closely to a female-type recess 11 made in a mating, coupling surface. In case the inside diameter of this female-type recess 11 is smaller than that of the outer periphery 12a of the disc 12, the periphery 12a is simply machined to fit the recess, while, in case the former is greater than the latter, only a disc 12a is replaced with the one which is suitable for the recess. Accordingly, when the turbine rotor should be replaced, all the parts to be adjusted is the disc 12 only. In other words, the rotor itself that is a very heavy object need not be machined for adjustment. Therefore, rotor replacing or reassembling work can be done easily. |
