The shaft (15) has at least one support bar (18,19), which is formed as an extrusion press profile with ribs and chambers. The support bar is arranged parallel to the barrel (12) and is provided with at least one recess and/or a groove for fixture of the exchange unit (11) and, if necessary, further weapon components. The extrusion press profile is made of aluminum. The shaft has several support bars, arranged in a sandwich structure. Between the shaft and the exchange unit is an adapter (20) which is formed with a vibration damping property greater than that of the shaft and exchange unit.
