PURPOSE: To stabilize a liquid such as beer, wine, and juice before filtration and to filter the liquid while maintaining a high filtration efficiency by adding a stabilizer to the liquid before filtration and performing cross-flow filtration. CONSTITUTION: When a suspended liquid and a liquid material containing tannin and/or protein, especially a liquid before filtration such as beer, wine and juice is to be subjected to ultrafiltration or microfiltration, the liquid is subjected to cross-flow filtration while a stabilizer (such as polyvinyl-polypyrrolidone) is continuously added. Thus, the liquid before filtration is filtered and the liquid is stabilized. |
