<p>PURPOSE:To improve the density of recording and to prevent a magnetic recording medium and a magnetic head from being abraded by providing an ultrasonic vibration impressing means which adds ultrasonic vibration in a vertical direction to the surface of the magnetic recording medium to a driving mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The ultrasonic vibration impressing means A which adds the ultrasonic vibration in the vertical direction to the surface of the magnetic recording medium to the driving mechanism is provided. When the ultrasonic vibration generation device A is operated, the movable part 45 thereof is vibrated and an arm and a cylinder 4 supported by the tip of the arm which are integrated in the movable part 45 are vibrated in ultrasonic. Due to that, the magnetic head 2 attached to the cylinder 4 is vibrated in ultrasonic almost in the vertical direction to the surface of a magnetic tape 1 at a greater part where the magnetic head 2 comes into contact with the magnetic tape 1. Therefore, when the magnetic head 2 and the magnetic recording medium 1 collide with each other, they immediately reject and separate each other. By repeating such an action, the mutual fine gap between them is maintained from occurring and the recording density of a magnetic recording device is improved.</p> |
