PURPOSE:To perform easy and correct sawing action even by an layman by a structure wherein a saw guide mechanism by which the sliding motion of a saw is guided under the state that the blade face of the saw is held to the predetermined direction, and in addition the adjusting mechanism of an angle in the horizontal surface, which is integrally attached to the saw guide mechanism, and a fixing mechanism, which is provided on the under surface of the adjusting mechanism of the angle in the horizontal surface, to the timber to be worked are provided. CONSTITUTION:A fixing member 31 is set to a timber to be worked W and the angle of an angle adjusting plate 21 is set so as to position the cutting line C of the timber to be worked W just beneath the guide face of a guide plate 11. After that, the fixing member 31 is fixed to the timber to be worked W by means of a set screw 32. On the other hand, a gap between the lower end part of a sliding plate 133 and the base part 12a of the guide face is adjusted in advance in response to the thickness of the saw S by means of a tap bolt 134 of a saw hold-down mechanism 13. When normal sawing is done under the conditions that the saw S is put between the sliding plate 133 and a guide plate 11 an the timber to be worked W is held down by means of a fixing mechanism 3 or hands or feet, the blade face of the saw S can be slid smoothly between the sliding plate 133 and the base part 12a of the guide face, resulting in allowing to cut the timber to be worked W correctly and vertically to the timber to be worked W. |
