It relates to a transfer device of the sort including, for the passage of an object to be printed 18 from a first position to a second position for which the said object is aligned along an axis 0, a sampling member 21 which, mounted so that it can rotate on a connecting rod 22, carries a rod 23 engaged slidingly in a bush 24 which is itself mounted so that it can rotate, the said connecting rod 22 being moreover subjected to means for controlling in a to-and-fro movement about its axis A2. According to the invention, these control means include a second connecting rod 31 with which the first one meshes, and which, meshing with a crank 32 is mounted so that it can rotate about an axis A4 whose position is adjustable. Application, in particular, to printing machines in which the printing axis 0 is stationary. <IMAGE>
