A valve is provided for opening and closing a throughflow passage (17) connecting the inlet (13, 15) with the pump chamber (16A, 16B). The throughflow passage is formed by a gap extending over the major part of the pump chamber periphery, and can be opened to a height which varies from a min. value at its ends to a max. value at a position between the ends. - The valve extends along the gap, and is pivotably fitted on a shaft adjacent to the gap ends. |
