The invention concerns a sealing system for a combustion air intake opening of an ram jet with expendable booster rocket (14). This sealing system comprises: an elastic system (28, 29, 31, 32) connected to the shutter flap (20A, 20B); and a retaining element (33) for maintaining said elastic system in said taut state during the initial rocket function phase, said retaining element being sensitive to the hot gases emitted by said expendable booster rocket (14), such that, at the end of its combustion, said retaining element (33) releases said elastic system which spontaneously passes from its taut state to its slack state driving said shutter flap from its sealing position to its opening position. |
