PURPOSE: To apply this device to hearing aids of various makers and/or those provided with various acoustic characteristics by providing a microcontroller equipped with a peripheral module, work memories, and plural receptacles for exchangeable firm program modules. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a microcontroller 1 equipped with a peripheral module, work memories 10 and 11, and plural receptacles 3 for exchangeable firm program modules 4a-4n. Adaptability with the various kinds of hearing aids is established by the modules 4a-4n, and in this case, the characteristic data of the hearing aid to be programming-processed are stored in each module 4a-4n. Also a master program module 5 is selected by another receptacle 2, and whether or not the receptacle 3 is full, and which module 4a-4n is present is confirmed at the time of the reading of the modules 4a-4n. Thus, this device is applied to hearing aids of various makers and/or those provided with various acoustic characteristic data.
