PURPOSE:To manufacture shoes at a low cost without requiring so many hands, through continuous processes by using a calender in the process of manufacturing shoes having sponge soles. CONSTITUTION:First, 10 to 60wt. part of white carbon, or 10 to 60wt. part of white carbon, to which; a proper amount of calcium carbonate is added acting as a reinforcing agent, 0.3 to 4wt. part of foaming agent, other proper amount of proper rubber compounding agent are added to 100wt. part of diene family rubber excluding isoprene family or 100wt. part of blended rubber which comprises 10 to 90wt. part of isoprene family rubber and 90 to 10wt. part of diene family rubber excluding isoprene family rubber so as to form a kneaded rubber material. The kneaded rubber material is rolled so that it has proper stereo design surface and thickness, cut to the shape of the sole, brought in contact with the lower surface of an instep stretched on a last heated pressurized for a proper period of time in an indirect vulcarizer can. In this way, shoes equipped with a sponge sole having characteristics such as causing less fatigue, comfortable to wear, anti-slip and quick-stop can be obtained at a low cost. |
