PURPOSE:To improve reliability by providing a material for a member in which a frame is installed, adding 30 to 50wt.% of glass fiber to high pressure polyethylene of 10 or more of melt flow index, and by forming the frame by injection molding. CONSTITUTION:For a frame 23a of an electrode plate 23, high pressure polyethylene of ten or more (preferably not less than 20) of melt flow index is used as a molding resin, and 30 to 50wt.% of glass fiber is added thereto in order to suppress molding shrinkage. By forming this on an electrode plate material by insert injection molding so as to form the frame solidly, the electrode 23 of flat surface without curvature or deformation can be obtained. The plate 23 and a separator plate 21 are layered and the inside of both clamping end plates 16 is tightened from outside by a bolt 28. Leakage of electrolyte out of a gap that is formed inter-member due to curvature or deformation can thus be prevented. |
