摘要 This device copes with short-circuit currents up to approximately 100 A exclusively by the kinetic energy of the switching mechanism. The rated current of the switching device is irrelevant in this case. For this purpose, a powerful force store is necessary which is completely isolated from the contact system when the switching device is in the connected position. At the same time, different contact forces have been prevented from being transmitted to the latch, and there are likewise no release scatters. This invention ensures that the kinetic energy of the switching spring acts suddenly on the moving contact, via the toggle lever and without any delay, after unlatching. This invention achieves the object of ensuring low unlatching forces with little scatter for the automatic release and, at the same time, irrespective of contact erosion and of the short-circuit current in this case, of applying a powerful mechanical impact effect in the opening direction to the moving contact.
