PURPOSE:To obtain a uniformly laminated image receiving sheet element by providing to a cover sheet sufficient perforations for preventing mixing of bubbles in a state of laminating the cover sheet on an image-receiving layer. CONSTITUTION:A material for a cover sheet to be used in an image receiving sheet element is selected from polymers having high dimensional stability, such as several sheets in a wide range, for example, of polyamide, polyolefin, polyester, vinyl polymer, etc. Sufficient perforations are provided in order to prevent mixing of bubbles in a stage of laminating the cover sheet on an image receiving layer. The shape of the perforation is usually circular, parallelogramic, rectangular, or square, and the density of the perforation is decided appropriately taking consideration into a mechanical strength of the cover sheet, size of the perforation, etc., but it is preferable that many perforations having a relatively small size are perforated. Thus, the air is satisfactorily excluded when the cover sheet is laminated on the image receiving layer and the adhesion of the image receiving layer to the cover sheet is improved. |
