<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the tape search by providing a switch means for generating a trigger signal for showing a search mode and a control means for commanding a repeating operation of the fast forwarding for a prescribed time and the reproducing for a prescribed time with this signal. CONSTITUTION:When a fast forwarding and reproducing repeating switch 27 is operated, the trigger signal for showing the search mode is given to a control circuit 29. A fast forwarding time and a reproducing time are read out of a time setting means 30 by the circuit 29, and a reel motor driving means 6 is started. Then, a tape 1 is rewound at high speed, and after the lapse of the prescribed time, it is changed over to the normal reproducing operation. When the prescribed time is over for the reproducing operation, it is changed over again to the high speed rewinding operation, and such intermittent operations are repeated. Then, when a desired block is found by the operator, the fast forwarding and reproducing repeating operation is stopped. By this method, the search of an optional spot of the tape can easily be attained.</p> |
