PURPOSE:To enhance reliability and to simplify an apparatus by inserting or removing a recoding head into or from an image carrier in the direction of a rotary shaft of the carrier in a state that a control circuit unit is separated from the carrier. CONSTITUTION:When a recoding head 1 is, for example, removed, if a set lever, not shown, is pulled to rotate a cam shaft 5a, a slide frame 2a, i.e., a control circuit unit 2 is moved to a position separate from an image carrier 3 on a guide frame 4 by the motion of a cam 5 interlocked to the shaft 5a and the spring action of a return spring (b). In this case, a head 1 engaged with a power supply connector 2e is moved together, but its rear end is retained by a stopper 6 to stop moving, it is disengaged, and the heat 1 is disconnected from the unit 2. When a grip is pulled to this side, the head 1 is removed. On the contrary, when the head 1 is mounted, the head 1 is inserted between tie bars 7a and 7b, and the shaft 5a is then rotated. |
