PURPOSE:To quickly perform the matching of programs and the collection of the history information by using a file information writing means, a control information writing means, and a data writing means for source/object/load modules. CONSTITUTION:A file information writing means 1 starts a control information writing means 2 in case the program file to be registered is registered in a directory file 4. The means 2 produces a control information record to describe that the program file undergoes an updating process or a treating process and rewrites the record into the corresponding control information record stored in a label information file 5. Then a data writing means 3 for source/object/load modules is actuated. The means 3 rewrites a source/object/load module file 6 based on the information stored in the file 4. Thus all files stored in the file 4 can be confirmed via the file 5. Then it is possible to quickly perform the matching of programs and the collection of the history information.
