PURPOSE:To enhance aging stability, recording sensitivity by providing a fluorocarbon layer containing 45-65% of carbon atoms for forming a CF2 bond, CF3 bond and a recording layer on a board to form an optical recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A fluorocarbon layer containing 45-65% of carbon atoms for forming a CF2 bond or CF3 bond to all carbon atoms is formed on a board by a sputtering method or a plasma polymerizing method. Further, a recording layer containing noble metal element, chalcogen element and bismuth as indispensable components and predetermined mixture ratio of the elements is laminated thereon, and pores or recesses are formed on the recording film by optical beam, thereby forming an optical recording medium for recording information. The ratio of carbon atoms for forming the CF2 bond or CF3 bond in the fluorocarbon layer is satisfactorily 45-55%. |
